About Teatalz
A kinder place to talk and belong.
India has one of the widest emotional-support gaps in the world — and almost nothing built natively for how young Indians actually express themselves: in Hinglish, at 1 a.m., half-joking and half-breaking. Teatalz exists to close that gap.
What we're building
Teatalz is two things in one app:
- Rume — a Hinglish-first AI companion you talk to. Vent, seek comfort, think out loud, laugh, or reflect. Rume meets you where you are, in the language you actually feel in.
- Adda — a positivity-first, anonymous-capable community you belong to. A feed engineered for warmth instead of outrage, where posts are gentle and ephemeral so people can speak freely.
What we believe
- Safe by design. Privacy and safety are built into the architecture, not bolted on. Your conversations are yours.
- Aligned with you, not advertisers. Teatalz is ad-free. We earn from serving you well, never from selling your attention.
- Made here, for here. Culturally native — Hinglish and English at launch, more Indian languages to follow.
An honest note: Rume is an emotional-support companion — not a therapist or a crisis service. When a conversation signals real risk, Teatalz surfaces verified professional helplines. Setting that expectation honestly is core to who we are.
The company
Teatalz is built by Teatalz House of Rume Private Limited, a company registered in Hyderabad, Telangana, and recognised under Startup India (DPIIT). We're building the emotional infrastructure of a generation — carefully, and for the long term.
