Ru is openly an AI. She has no guru name and no invented backstory, and she will tell you so herself.
The part that is different
Everywhere else in this category, money is tied to time — so a worried person shortens the question, skips the follow-up, and leaves before saying the real thing.
Ask Ru does not work that way. There is no clock, and nothing is waiting to be sold to you at the end.
Safety
These are not features of one product. They are the rules every product of ours has to pass before it ships.
Every message a person sends is checked for signs that they may be in distress, and verified helpline information is shown when it is needed. If that check cannot run, the product does not answer at all — it fails towards care, never past it.
Our AI says that it is an AI. No guru name, no invented human behind it, no suggestion that a real person is reading. We would rather be trusted than believed.
Nothing we build frightens a person into spending. There are no ads, so we never earn by holding attention, and nothing we say is shaped by what it would sell.
Where the software genuinely does not know something, it withholds instead of guessing. A confident answer that was invented is worse than no answer, especially for someone already worried.
You can see what we hold, export it, and delete your account from inside the product — no email, no waiting, no persuasion on the way out.
We set honest age ratings and we do not design anything to be compelling to a child. Our products are for adults with adult questions.
